THE STRUGGLE

In the brink of war,
Men will break the law
Houses tend to tear apart
All men with credo will take a path
The rich will seek refuge in their defenses,
And the poor will be left to bear the consequences
Villages will be left in tatters
Survival will be all that matters
Men will fall and trampled underfoot by their own
Poor or rich, the vibrant will be known
He will break through the shackles that hold men bound,
Himself he'll charge to pull the weak from the ground
The rain will fall and the sun will shine
He'll hunger and thirst but will not whine
He believes in his strength and in it he'll strive
On the contrary lies the weak; he too must survive
Though he's not as quick,
He has his brain to do the trick
Before everyone lie two outcomes here
Each of which is very severe
To be victorious and be seen as glorious
Or fall a failure after all you had to endure
In this race, even the strongest men fall
And the weak could overhaul
It is not for the fastest,
But indeed, it is the survival of the fittest.
